The Dial Center's Public Speaking lab hour for Spring 2013
The Dial Center opened public speaking lab last summer based on the Introduction to Public Speaking courses. Students can get help with speeches for their courses, presentations, or other speaking events from our Public Speaking instructors. For more information and current hours, see the Public Speaking Lab home page. The lab is located in Rolfs 410. Rolfs is next to Subway and across from Pugh Hall.
Dial Center Minor Pre-registration event March 18
Ths Dial Center will hold an informational, pre-registration event for Communication Studies Minors on March 18 at 3 pm in Rolfs 314. By attending, communication studies minors can learn more about courses offered in the Spring and Summer and sign up for their comm studies courses before open registration begins.
Public Speaker's Forum March 24
The Public Speaker's Forum will be coming up March 24. This event offers students of SPC2608, Public Speaking the opportunity to compete in a forum before an audience of other public speaking course students. Check with your communication studies instructors for extra credit for attendance at this event. More details will be available soon!
