Meet Our Tutors and Writing Specialists
Here are some of the tutors and writing specialists that you may
meet
in UF's Online Writing Lab. When you submit a document, you can select
a tutor with whom to work. If that person is available, he or she will
respond to your questions.
Dianne
Cothran is Lecturer in the Humanities for the Dial Center
for
Written and Oral Communication. Dr. Cothran has developed and taught
writing
courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders, The Physical Sciences,
Psychology, and Engineering; she also has extensive experience in
government
documents.
Creed
Greer is Associate Program Director and Lecturer in the
Humanities
for the Dial Center for Written and Oral Communication. Dr. Greer has
developed
and taught writing courses in Law, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology,
and Engineering. He is the creator and director of UF's Online Writing
Lab.
Robin
Lauriault is Lecturer in the Humanities for the Dial Center
for Written and Oral Communication. Dr. Lauriault, a specialist in
history,
has designed a course of study for students in the history major and
has
experience in law and psychology.
Mickey
Schafer is Lecturer in the Humanities for the Dial Center
for
Written and Oral Communication. Dr. Schafer, a specialist in
linguistics,
has designed a course of study for students in the linguistics major;
she
is also expert in medical and biological writing and English as a
second
language.
New Voices in the Online Writing Lab:
Kelly Byram is
Lead Tutor for the Dial Center for Written and Oral Communication.
Since 1995, Ms. Byram has worked as a freelance writer, an editor and
technical writer for an array of organizations including Lucent
Technologies and the Princeton University Press.
